Project Name:

St Patrick's Church, Loughbrickland

Legananny Road

Architect / Designer:

Delahunt Laverty Architects

Completion Date:

Armatile worked closely with Tom Delahunt of Delahunt Laverty Architects in Newry during this project.
The main aisle is tiled in a victorian pattern with bespoke borders and waterjet cut panels running the length of the church, along with specially designed plagues produced and tiled into the floor as a mark of respect. We also produced an intricate waterjet border in a leaf design tiled along the altar step.

But the most rewarding section of tiling throughout this church is around the baptismal feature at the front of the church. A mixture of glass mosaic was laid with waterjet cut flames from a red quartz tile and surrounded by text cut from porcelain tiles, again using waterjet technology.
